We utilize the following Train Collectors’ Association (TCA) condition grandard standards as follows:
C-10 Mint – Brand New all original, unused and unblemished. Of course! The A.E.R. Group is always looking for great trains for our domestic and international clients. You would be pleasantly surprised to know that a large base of customers appreciates you providing us with the opportunity. To get a better understanding of how our process works please click our We Buy Trains link under Our Service. Once you have completed this information you will be asked to take a moment to complete our on-line questionnaire that provides you areas to inventory your assets. We specialize in N, HO, S and O gauge trains from all eras. Should you have more modern era type trains all that is typically needed is the manufacturer, model number and the overall condition of your collection. Should you have older LIONEL, MARX or American Flyer trains we would also need the condition and whether or not you have the original boxes. With excessive amounts of inventory or less expensive trains we ask that you provide us a count of freight cars, passenger cars, and an itemized list of your locomotives (e.g. Diesels or Steam). We have provided an electronic inventory form located on our Contact Us page at the top of the website. Once there, click on the Consignment link that will open the inventory form. Once it is completed, all you have to do is click submit and we will be in contact with you. If you have Microsoft Excel we cam also download your inventory as well. We also accept a written inventory list (handwritten or typed) whichever is easiest for you. Once finished you can either scan the document into a file and send it to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or you can fax it to our office.
